This week Tim Wallingford, Director of the Center for Church Leadership, asked me to tape a brief message of encouragement to young preachers. Tim pointed out that church leaders are facing unprecedented financial challenges and ministerial pressures as a result of the present Caronavirus crises and could really use a supportive, reassuring word. Since I have a heart for younger ministers and since the Bible teaches us to “consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24), I gladly accepted Tim’s challenge.
