I acknowledge that over the past few months, the majority of my blog posts have centered around my grandson Charlie’s critical struggle with COVID pneumonia. I am thankful you have supported the diversion from my usual postings and continued to follow along with us during this challenging time. We are now rejoicing that Charlie has improved so well the doctors released him to a physical rehab center on Friday. Yesterday, my son Rusty, Charlie’s father, visited him and recorded a one-minute video from Charlie for the New Day Christian Church congregation, where Rusty is pastor. I hope you will indulge this caring grandfather once again this week and take the time to watch the video. It is an excellent reminder that God can bring beauty from ashes and make all things work together for good.
