Once a month I invite eight ministers from across the country to participate in a 3 day retreat. We entitle it, “A Time Of Refreshing” and it’s designed to provide a spiritual r & r for preachers who are on the front lines of the spiritual battle week after week. We talk about various aspects of ministry and discuss various challenges to our family and personal lives as well as enjoying fellowship with others who minister in similar situations. Since retiring I’ve conducted about 50 retreats and each one has been gratifying.

Thanks to all of you who volunteer, contribute and pray for these retreats. We are making a significant difference in the lives of preachers, many of whom are battle-weary and deserve some love and encouragement.
